Tropical Storm Amanda and Two Developing Systems in the Pacific

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently monitoring Tropical Storm Amanda, which is situated well west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula.
Additionally, two areas of low pressure are being observed for potential tropical development.

Why It's Important?

Tropical Storm Amanda is not currently posing a direct threat to land, but its progress is being closely monitored. The two developing systems could bring heavy rainfall, strong winds, and potential flooding to coastal areas of southern Mexico and Central America if they strengthen into tropical depressions or storms. Residents in these regions should remain vigilant and prepared for possible impacts, especially in areas prone to flooding or landslides.
